An evening of Festive Fizz Tasting & Luxury Seafood in the bar - Hosted by Robin Nugent of ‘Iron & Rose’
We are thrilled to announce our 2nd Bar tasting of the year! To celebrate the Festive season at the Walrus, we are welcoming the wonderful Robin from Iron & Rose to host a Fizz & luxury Seafood evening! Join us for an evening of delicious, luxury sparkling wines from across the world, with Robin helping guide you through the breadth and variation in sparkling wines, paired with stunning seafood dishes curated by Ben to compliment the beautiful fizz! Starting with a small wine shop front in the Market Hall, a side-hustle to Robin's day job, Iron and Rose, over the years has become a firm Shrewsbury Independent favourite and now supplies wine to customers across the UK and some like minded restaurants and bars locally. In 2019 he opened GlouGlou, a small wine bar / enoteca, a place where people can come and enjoy a glass, and that serves wine and food with sustainability, seasonality and great taste at its core!
